US WC Alternative Railway Routing Service Technological advances have led to the improvement of the quality of logistics services. However, segmented transportation services are also heavily influenced by small variables and unexpected constraints. Natural disasters such as fires and floods or labor strikes in the logistics industry are examples.

HMM provides a variety of alternative rail routing services in preparation for this situation. We are preparing for congestion in U.S. West Coast ports by diversifying the Gate-port of North American inland transportation.

China Qinzhou-Vietnam Haiphong Multimodal Service HMM offers new multimodal services in Qinzhou, China and Haiphong, Vietnam. The new service is aimed at niche markets using the Rail, Truck, and Feeder Network. Since it is a separate transportation service from HMM's mothership service, it can flexibly meet customers’ needs. In particular, Qinzhou Port, which is close to western China, is used as a Gate Port to secure relatively fast transit time.

Option A (Chongqing/Sichuan ↔ Rail ↔ Qinzhou, China ↔ Feeder ↔ Haiphong, Vietnam) and Option B (Qinzhou, China ↔ Truck ↔ Qinzhou ↔ Feeder ↔ Haiphong, Vietnam), and various multimodal transport routes are being developed in nearby areas.
